Théo Platel × FlyTex

Context

The collaboration

Theo Platel, European pickleball champion, partnered with FlyTex to represent their performance apparel during training sessions.

The objective of this project was to create a series of images that showcased the products authentically, embedded in real movement, real effort, and real performance, rather than staged commercial imagery.

The challenge was clear: highlight the brand without overshadowing the athlete.

Creative Direction

Natural Performance, Elevated

From the beginning, the intention was to keep the session genuine. The training remained real. No artificial poses, no exaggerated branding.

The focus was on movement, intensity, and discipline. FlyTex products became part of the narrative, not the centerpiece.

Composition and framing were carefully considered to:

  • Emphasize texture and material quality

  • Capture motion and energy

  • Maintain authenticity in every frame

Visual Balance

Between Commercial & Organic

Commercial collaborations in sports photography require precision. Too subtle, and the brand disappears. Too aggressive, and the image loses credibility.

In both shooting and post-production, the goal was balance.

Color grading remained natural, skin tones were preserved, and contrast was refined without over-stylizing. The result is a clean, performance-driven aesthetic that elevates the product while staying true to the athlete’s identity.

Outcome

A Cohesive Brand Narrative

The final series delivers a strong visual identity that aligns with both Theo Platel’s competitive presence and FlyTex’s performance-focused positioning.

The images communicate effort, focus, and professionalism, while subtly reinforcing the brand partnership.
